Our Payment Policy

If you have dental insurance, a claim will be filed for you at no charge. If you have a deductible , or your insurance pays only a portion, we will request you pay your share on the day services are rendered. If the patient’s portion of the bill is not paid IN FULL, no new appointments will be scheduled, and any appointments already scheduled will be cancelled until payment is complete, unless other arrangements have been made. We do accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover and Care Credit. Our system does not allow the use of debit cards (unless it is also a credit card).

For our patients with no insurance, we do require payment in full on the day services are rendered, unless other arrangements have been made with us in advance. A 5% discount will be given when you pay your bill with a check or cash on the day you are seen.

Payment for services provided by Northwoods Family Dental is the sole responsibility of the patient, or the patient’s parent or guardian. Dental insurance does not relieve the patient of financial responsibility for services rendered.

If there are circumstances which do not allow for complying with our regular payment policy, a sincere effort will be made to seek an equitable payment plan. We encourage you to discuss fees and payment with the dental services staff before treatment begins. Please inform our staff if you would like a pre-treatment estimate from your insurance company.
